We are seeking motivated and experienced Academic Counsellors to join our team in Kolkata. As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and advising students and their families on educational opportunities, with a focus on medical and related fields. You will provide personalized counseling to help students make informed decisions about their academic and career paths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert counseling on academic options, admission procedures, and career guidance.
• Assist students in selecting suitable courses and institutions based on their interests, qualifications, and budget.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with students and parents to understand their academic goals and provide tailored guidance.
• Stay updated on educational trends, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities in India and abroad.
• Collaborate with educational institutions and other stakeholders to gather information and facilitate admissions.
• Manage and maintain student records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Participate in educational seminars, workshops, and events to promote the organization’s services.
• Handle inquiries through calls, emails, and walk-ins, providing accurate and timely information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic counseling or a related field.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and address student concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of the education system in India and abroad, especially in medical education, is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
